Albeit, at the time of writing, this will be pretty much only apply to those who own it on the PS4 and Xbox One who has since upgraded to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Just to cover some points raised and confirmed earlier, this enhanced version of The Witcher 3 will be made available to anyone who currently owns an original copy of the game.

However, the good news doesn’t end there. In confirming the news, CD Projekt Red has strongly hinted that this new DLC release will coincide with The Witcher 3 enhanced edition launch. In something of a surprise announcement, however, following a post on their official Twitter account, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that with this release, it will also include some brand new DLC that will be based on the hit Netflix adaptation! Despite this having recently seen a few major problems, however, largely because its source code was apparently stolen, it seems that The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition is still on target for release before the end of the year. It’s been known for quite some time now that CD Projekt Red has been working on a new version of The Witcher 3 that is looking to bring many huge graphical enhancements to really get the best out of it while playing on it next-gen consoles.
